The Nets were pretty quiet at the trade deadline, holding onto all their big (disappointing) contracts. The Thaddeus Young for Kevin Garnett trade was nice, but doesn’t get this team any closer to a championship. The one saving grace is cap room after next season but who would want to play for this organization? An aging, injury prone roster and practically no draft picks in the next 5 years will keep them from being relevant any time soon.
