Didi Gregorius

Gregorius wouldn’t be the biggest upgrade for the Mets, but is an upgrade nonetheless. He leaves something to be desired at the plate, but his fielding is above-average.

With the Arizona Diamondbacks looking for pitching, the Mets could be a perfect match. They have plenty to offer the Diamondbacks, and he should be available because the D-Backs have another capable player manning shortstop already in Chris Owings.

Gregorius is still young, as he will be 25 when the 2015 starts. He would be under team control for four seasons, a long enough time to evaluate him and hope his bat can eventually come around with his glove.
