We can sit here and talk about Clippard’s struggles all day, but the fact of the matter is that he slumped himself out of the Bronx.
The man is a ten year veteran in this league, yet he continues to pitch like a rookie. Thank god he’s finally out of New York because it is nerve racking every time he enters a game.

He’s had two strong outings before this trade, but honestly it just upped his value. Now the New York Yankees have a bullpen to be proud of because of this trade. Add David Robertson and Tommy Kahnle, and this bullpen becomes even more dominant.
Good riddance Tyler Clippard, you had your shot and you blew it. Take your rec specks, and your baggy pants, and have fun in Chicago you bum.
