New York Yankees Tyler Clippard continues his struggles after an awful outing against the Milwaukee Brewers. He needs to get out of New York for good.

The New York Yankees need to get rid of the dumpster fire that is Tyler Clippard.

Yes, I realize that is a blunt way to put it, but Clippard is just so bad, and he doesn’t show signs of improving.

This morning I awoke sporting a New York Yankees hangover. For those that don’t know what that means, let me hit you with a definition.

It’s when you have tickets for Sunday’s Yankee game, and the team is playing so poorly, that you wake up with a headache the size of Don Zimmer.

So, in order to cure what has been ailing me, I decided to go get some coffee at Starbucks. Without thinking about it, I just threw on a Yankees hat to hide my bed head.

Not even two minutes into my visit, the barista had noticed my hat. He then looked at me and said, “Tyler Clippard needs to get the hell out of New York.”

I had not even ordered my cold brew yet, and Tyler Clippard was already on my mind. I don’t think I’ve thought of a person more than I have thought about Clippard in the past three weeks.

So Tyler Clippard, please… for me, and for fans everywhere, just go away.

I don’t care where you go, but just never come back. When a barista makes small talk about how bad you are to a person he doesn’t even know, that should tell you something.

I couldn’t even enjoy a simple coffee without being pained by the performance Clippard dealt out last night.

It’s time for him to pack up his baggy pants and his rec specks, and in the words of Biff Tannen, “Make like a tree, and get out of here.”
