The New York Knicks continue their four-game road trip tonight with a visit to the Portland Trail Blazers. The Knicks are finishing up a back-to-back set, losing to the Utah Jazz on Wednesday night. The Trail Blazers come in off a loss Tuesday that snapped their three-game winning streak.
This is the second and final time the Knicks and Trail Blazers will face off this season. The Knicks picked up the win at Madison Square Garden, defeating the Blazers 107-103. At that time both teams had a .500 record; things have not gone as well since.
The Knicks come into tonight’s game with a 27-44, while the Blazers come in at 32-38. The Knicks playoff hopes are as good as dead, while the Blazers are still alive in the Western Conference. New York has their attention turned to the 2017-18 season, while Portland is still focusing on qualifying for the postseason in a few weeks.
