The market opens in less than a week… well, the NFL Free Agency market that is. March 9 officially starts the open free agency market, and the New York Giants have seen many players hit the market that should have Jerry Reese licking his chops.

Some major names are bouncing around the top of the board, but Reese should be looking at what players will fit the team’s needs. There are some quality guards that are about to hit the market and some skill players that could make an immediate impact for the Giants.

Free agency is really a crapshoot for most teams. Overspend on an older player, and fans will be up in arms. If a team misses out on a top player in the league, then the fans think that the general manager is not trying to improve the team at all.

Luckily for Jerry Reese, his track record indicates that he knows how to price out the big names. From Olivier Vernon to Janoris Jenkins, Reese has given the fans a reason to feel comfortable with him handling free agency for the Giants.

This could be Reese’s most important offseason yet, and there are some superstars on the market that would fit perfectly into the Giants scheme. Which players can find themselves in blue next season? Let’s take a look.
