Starting Rotation: Nestor Cortes, Carlos Rodon, Marcus Stroman, Clarke Schmidt, and Clayton Beeter

Without Gerrit Cole the Yankees will need Nestor Cortes and Carlos Rodon to bounce back in significant ways. The addition of Marcus Stroman gives the team reliability and the team will hope he returns to the form he had in the first half of 2023. Clarke Schmidt is coming off of the biggest workload of his career which is a cause for concern. The final spot in the rotation is a toss up between Clayton Beeter, Will Warren, and Luke Weaver. Beeter gets the nod to start the year while Weaver is used as a long reliever.

Bullpen: Clay Holmes, Jonathan Loaisiga, Ian Hamilton, Caleb Ferguson, Luke Weaver, Ron Marinaccio, Victor Gonzalez, and Nick Burdi.

The Yankees bullpen will be weaker than we've seen in the past few years with injuries to Scott Effross, Lou Trivino, and Tommy Kahnle. The new additions of Caleb Ferguson and Victor Gonzalez come with significant MLB experience and will be heavily relied upon. The team needs bounce backs from Ron Marinaccio and Jonathan Loaisiga with Loaisiga's return from injury and Marinaccio's return from the minor leagues. Clay Holmes steps back into his role as the Yankees closer and should have plenty of opportunities to close games out in 2024.
