VIDEO: Aaron Judge Gets in First Spring Training Workout
The New York Yankees have their sights set on a bounce-back campaign in 2024. Last season, New York went 82-80 and missed the postseason for the first time since 2016.
Right fielder Aaron Judge sustained some injuries that sidelined him for stretches. In 2023, Judge had a hip strain and a torn toe ligament that forced him to miss a total of 56 games.
As we roll into the new year, Judge and the Yankees are looking for a healthy season. The five-time All-Star joined New York in 2016 and helped lead them to the playoffs in six of the last eight seasons.
The Yankees head down to Steinbrenner Field in Tampa, Fla. for spring training. The first full-squad workout is scheduled for Feb. 20 but Judge is already down there putting in work. The 31-year-old got his first spring training workout in.

It's a nice sight to see for the Bronx Bombers. Even though Judge was jogging and fielding a catch, just having him on the diamond generates a boost within the fanbase.
The 2022 AL MVP possesses light-tower power and has the strength to hammer the ball anywhere on the field. Over his last three seasons, Judge has a batting average of .288 with 138 home runs, 304 RBIs, and 68 doubles.
New York needs Aaron Judge to regain his All-Star form. The roster is loaded after the acquisition of Juan Soto in December and the Bronx Bombers are now ready to make a run. According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Yankees are +135 favorites to win the AL East in 2024.
