The New York Yankees head into the All-Star Break with a 58-40 record sitting one game back of the Baltimore Orioles. If you were to ask how the Yankees got to this point, on a positive note, you'd be given the same group of players while there's a handful of players that would get blamed for the team's struggles. Heading into the All-Star Break, here are the three biggest winners and losers from the New York Yankees in the first half of the season.

Winner: Aaron Judge

Every year that Aaron Judge is fully healthy, the entire baseball world is lucky to witness his greatness on full display. Heading into the All-Star Break, Judge is hitting .308 with 34 home runs, 85 RBIs, and an insane 1.114 OPS. This season will be another year filled with accolades for Judge as he's an MLB All-Star and will be the front-runner for the American League MVP Award. Without Judge, the Yankees are a middle-of-the-road team while with Judge the Yankees can easily contend for a World Series.

Loser: Gleyber Torres

When players go into the final year of their contract, it's common they have huge seasons earning massive deals in free agency. In his walk year, Gleyber Torres has disappointed, batting .230 with only eight home runs and 35 RBIs. There were high hopes for Torres this season, especially in a loaded Yankees lineup but his struggles at the plate and in the field have made him one of the top players to likely be replaced at the trade deadline.
