Saquon Barkley Responds to Fans Criticizing Him After Attending 76ers Game
After almost two months since he joined the Philadelphia Eagles, Saquon Barkley is still present in many Giants fan's lives. The veteran running back spent six years in the Big Apple, becoming a superstar at MetLife Stadium until the RB market and the Giants' unwillingness to pay him made Barkley join a division rival.
Of course, this decision didn't sit well with a lot of fans. Some haven't hesitated to let Barkley know what they think of him, but the player has tried to keep a low profile and show respect to the organization that originally drafted him to the NFL.
However, every now and then Barkley snaps and reminds his former fans that he's trying to live his life and move on from the Giants drama. Even so, some fans still can't get over his decision to leave and after Barkley attended the Philadelphia 76ers-New York Knicks game on Thursday, plenty of fans sent him messages again.
Barkley has had enough of these comments and didn't hesitate to clap back to his old supporters, telling Giants fans to move on from this situation, making it clear it's been two months since he left and is now trying to enjoy himself in Philly.
It remains to be seen if fans will take this message, but Barkley is already enjoying his new life, trying to embrace his new team and city, set to dominate the NFC East next season. The Giants are working to return to the playoffs and become contenders again, but that seems unlikely right now. They have plenty of questions to answer next season, including Daniel Jones' future, if they aspire to be a real threat in the NFC.
Meanwhile, Barkley is expected to make a big impact on the Eagles and help them play in another Super Bowl next season.
