Andrew Thomas - 4th Overall Pick

If not for injuries at times Andrew Thomas would be in the conversation as the top draft pick for the Giants over the last ten years. Through four seasons in New York, Thomas has played 55 games at left tackle being named to the second-team All-Pro in 2022.

The Giants have been a disaster on the offensive line for the past ten years making Thomas all the more valuable. Missed draft picks on offensive linemen like Erick Flowers and Evan Neal make the Georgia product feel all the more valuable for New York. If the Giants turn towards a rookie quarterback having a pass protector like Thomas will go a long way in the development of the quarterback.

1. Dexter Lawrence - 17th Overall Pick

In a draft where the Giants selected Daniel Jones 6th overall and Deandre Baker at the end of the first round the selection of Dexter Lawrence at 17th overall was overshadowed. In this time Lawrence has become arguably the best interior defensive lineman in the NFL. Through five seasons in New York, Lawrence has recorded 21 sacks, 266 tackles, and four forced fumbles.

The addition of Brian Burns to the pass rush core will help Lawrence as teams will shift their double teams toward Burns. Lawrence has twice been named to the Second Team All-Pro, we should see Lawrence continue to rack up accolades as he enters his prime and with Aaron Donald retiring from the NFL.

The New York Giants need to ace this draft to have a legit shot to win the NFC East. According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Giants are +900 underdogs to win the division. If you want to take lock-in of these odds, head over to FanDuel Sportsbook and claim your sign-up bonus.
