The Jets lack of wide receivers may only get worse as the team continues to shop Allen Lazard via trade to any team that's willing to take on his contract. The Jets will likely explore signing outside receivers but, until the team makes the move it's one of their biggest needs.

The Jets fill the need here by landing one of the most underrated players in this year's draft class Ricky Pearsall a receiver out of Florida. Despite inconsistent quarterback play, Pearsall had a great season catching 65 passes for 965 yards and four touchdowns.

Pearsall translates better as a slot receiver, however, he's played both with 260 snaps in the slot and 194 snaps out wide.

The Florida Gator may be the best route runner in the class creating separation with ease. He posses very reliable hands as well making him an ideal option as a rookie in an offense quarterbacked by Aaron Rodgers.

111th Overall Pick - Khyree Jackson - Cornerback

The Jets have a solid one-two combo in Sauce Gardner and DJ Reed at cornerback, but behind them the depth is bleek. Here New York lands one of the more intriguing cornerback prospects in the class in Oregon's Khyree Jackson.

Jackson started his career at Last Chance U's East Mississippi Community College before transferring to Alabama and then ending up at Oregon.

After two seasons with little playing time at Alabama, Jackson immediately looked like one of the best cornerbacks in the country with 34 tackles, seven pass defenses, two sacks, and three interceptions for the Ducks.

Despite his 6-foot-3 size, Jackson's footwork and technique are better than most cornerbacks. Jackson will need to add some weight at the pro level to become better in press against bigger receivers but, he can be a day one starter for the Jets.
