While teasing the upcoming schedule, Hard Knocks, and some other events for the 2024 season, the New York Giants have also been teasing new uniforms. Giants fans had plenty to be excited about as the team's Color Rush and Legacy Games Jerseys have both looked incredible over the past few seasons.

However, the Giants missed the mark with the new jersey release for 2025, as the uniforms look awful.

The team is celebrating its 100th anniversary by wearing the pants from its inaugural season, with a jersey remodeled from their 1933 season, and a winged helmet similar to Michigan's that they wore in 1938.

While the team is honoring the past by wearing these uniforms twice, this release is a massive disappointment as the jerseys are hideous. There's a strong likelihood that few fans buy these uniforms as compared to the wildly popular color rush and legacy games uniforms.

The uniforms look similar to something that you'd see on an NHL minor league team or an ugly Christmas sweater you'd get around the holidays. The team will only wear the new uniforms twice, but it feels like two times too many as nearly every fan agrees that the uniforms are awful.

The Giants have had some iconic uniforms throughout their history, which could have served as better throwbacks for 2024-25. The fans love the uniforms from the 1980's and 90's which serve as the modern legacy game uniforms. The team also could've turned to their all-red uniforms of the past which they wore as throwbacks in the 2000s and which the fans have come to miss.

This reveal certainly hasn't gone as well as the team thought it may have and it's just hard to believe the team thought this would go any better.
