The 2024 Summer Olympics will take place in Paris starting on July 26. The United States of America looks to bring home the gold medal in men's basketball and has begun to assemble potential members. Team USA has gathered a 41-player pool and there will be some ballers from New York on the list.

New York Knicks' Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart and Brooklyn Nets' Mikal Bridges and Cam Johnson have been added to the pool.

Two Knicks And Two Nets Are On Team USA Shortlist For Olympics

LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and Kevin Durant headline the list of stars added to the pool. The Team USA roster will get trimmed down to 12 players as we get closer to the 2024 Paris Games.

The Knicks have Brunson and Hart on the list as both players have been extremely productive in the Big Apple. Brunson signed a 4-year, $104 million contract with the Knicks in July 2022 and has been lights out since coming to town. The Villanova product is averaging 25.2 points and 6.3 assists in two years as a Knick.

Hart joined his fellow Villanova teammate Brunson in New York and brought an edge onto the floor. The 28-year-old (6-foot-4) plays bigger than his size and runs the floor with fearless energy.

Across town, Mikal Bridges and Cam Johnson have played good basketball. Bridges is a two-way force who has the knack for creating his own shot with ease. The 2018 first-round pick logs 23.7 points and 3.2 assists per game since coming over to Brooklyn in February 2023.

Likewise, Johnson has a knockdown jumper on the perimeter with the athleticism to put the ball on the deck and attack the lane.

These four ballers all have a chance to compete and secure a spot on the 2024 Team USA roster.
