Julius Randle is expected to be on his way to the Minnesota Timberwolves after they and the New York Knicks agreed on a blockbuster trade this past weekend. Once the trade is made official, Randle and others who are involved in the deal will have to move states to go play for the team that wanted them.

While some players have a hard time moving from state to state, some do not mind looking for another place to call home. A portion of players and their families will miss the city they were just playing in, as it was called their home for several years. However, for the Randle family, it seems they were ready to get out of New York.

Kendra Randle, Julius' wife, said in a recent TikTok video she posted that her family is looking forward to the move. She went on to say that when she heard Minnesota, it was pretty shocking, although they were so ready to leave New York, as living in a condo with two kids was "so hard."

Julius Randle was a New York Knick for five seasons. During his time here he had made a name for himself as one of the top scoring threats for the Knicks. He garnered league-wide praise as well, becoming a three-time all-star and a two-time All-NBA player. The Knicks also made the playoffs three out of the last four seasons with Randle one of the driving factors behind that success.

Randle did suffer through some ups and downs with the Knicks while he was here. He dealt with booing fans, giving them a thumbs down in a game vs. the Boston Celtics to retaliate against criticism. He also had some on court meltdowns, whether against coaches, refs, or even teammates sometimes.

Randle still had a really solid tenure with New York, helping to bring the team back to relevancy when they were in their darkest times as an organization. Now we will see how he performs in Minnesota and the reception he will get when he returns given these comments.
