The Jets entered the offseason with little cap space and plenty of holes to fill putting the team in a difficult place. Joe Douglas maneuvered the salary cap and solved several of the team's issues on the offensive line, at wide receiver, and on defense.

The success in free agency will now give the Jets flexibility in the NFL Draft, allowing the team to select the best player available.

10th Overall Pick - Brock Bowers - Tight End

The best player available at ten for the New York Jets will likely be Georgia tight end Brock Bowers. The Georgia TE was having a Heisman-caliber season before an ankle injury cost him nearly half of the season. While selecting a tight end early in the first round isn't popular, the ability of Bowers is too special to pass up.

The size and speed of Bowers is a rare blend with incredible burst to boot, causing for massive yards after the catch. Bowers would give the Jets a massive red zone target as well as a player who can become a reliable weapon for Aaron Rodgers.

Adding a tight end of Bowers caliber' to the offense would give the Jets three legit receiving targets to go along with the rushing ability of Breece Hall.
