The stakes for the New York Jets in this draft got even higher as the Buffalo Bills traded Stefon Diggs last week. The Jets need to add some offensive weapons now if they want to win the AFC East. Here's where we think New York should go with its draft:

10th Overall Pick - Brock Bowers - Tight End

With Marvin Harrison Jr, Malik Nabers, and Rome Odunze coming off the board before the Jets pick, the decision to add Brock Bowers is easy. The tight end had a Heisman-caliber season at Georgia before an ankle injury derailed his season putting up 714 yards with six touchdowns on 56 catches.

The Jets do have a solid productive tight end in Tyler Conklin, however, having him shouldn't prevent the team from selecting a player of Bowers' caliber. Adding Bowers would allow the Jets to use unique two tight end sets, which would be difficult for opposing defenses to stop, especially with Mike Williams and Garrett Wilson on the outside.

The size and speed of Bowers is a rare blend with incredible burst despite a lack of long speed, causing for massive yards after the catch. Bowers would give the Jets a massive red zone target as well as a player who can become a reliable weapon for Aaron Rodgers on third downs.

Bowers could become a building block long-term while the future of Aaron Rodgers will be consistently murky. When selecting a tight end this high in the draft you have to be able to see him becoming a Hall of Fame player, and you can easily see that with Bowers' talent.
