Former New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning was among 167 modern-era players nominated for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2025. The two-time Super Bowl MVP is also one of 16 former players in their first year of eligibility for the ballot.

While Manning is known for his two Super Bowl Championships with the Giants over Tom Brady and the New England Patriots, the former quarterback also ranks in the top 10 in career passing yards, completions, and touchdown passes. He played all 16 seasons with the New York Giants and was a four-time Pro Bowler.

Manning owns the franchise record for pass attempts, completions, passing touchdowns, consecutive starts by a quarterback with 222 games, and 300-yard passing games.

Off the field, Manning was the Walter Payton Man of the Year in 2016, where he was honored for his commitment to philanthropy and community impact. He is still active in the community and contributes to several charities.

Manning also serves as an ESPN NFL analyst for an alternate broadcast called the Manningcast with his older brother Peyton, who was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2021 after playing with the Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos. The show features segments with special guest stars from entertainment, politics, and sports while the Manning brothers analyze and give insight into the game.

Seven other Giants legends nominated for this year's ballot include running back Tiki Barber, tight end Jeremy Shockey, guard Chris Snee, defensive end Justin Tuck, linebacker Jessie Armstead, and punters Jeff Feagles and Sean Landeta.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame inductees will be announced at the annual NFL Honors show the night before the Super Bowl. The induction ceremony will take place on Sunday, August 10, at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton, Ohio.
