Entering the NFL Draft the Giants will be in a position to select the best player available after filling the most significant holes in free agency. The Giants appear done in free agency outside of veteran bargain deals as the team's soaked up a majority of their cap space.

There will almost certainly be a trade on draft day as the Giants hold just six picks in this year's event.

6th Overall Pick - Rome Odunze - Wide Receiver

If the Giants stand pat in the NFL Draft, it's almost a certainty that they'll select a wide receiver. Washington receiver Rome Odunze seems like the obvious choice here.

The Chargers and Cardinals will have their pick of the receivers at four and five, likely selecting Marvin Harrison Jr and Malik Nabers. Calling Odunze the third-best receiver in the class feels wrong as he'd likely be the top receiver in nearly any other draft class.

The rookie receiver will have a leg up entering the NFL after playing in a pro-style offense at Washington for now Seahawks offensive-coordinator Ryan Grubb. Odunze is coming off of his most productive season yet, catching 92 passes for 1,640 yards and 13 touchdowns.

While Odunze would serve as a building block for the future he'd also step in as possibly the most talented receiver in Daniel Jones' time in New York. Odunze is an incredible athlete with massive run after catch ability while showing a knack for coming down with 50/50 balls.

As the top route runner in the draft, landing Odunze would give a significant lift to what was one of the league's worst offenses.
