139th Overall Pick: Tykee Smith - Safety - Georgia

One of the biggest question marks heading into the offseason is whether or not the Giants re-sign safety Xavier McKinney. Given positional value and McKinney being drafted under the previous regime, it's likely the two sides won't come to terms on a new deal.

The opening could create an opportunity for the Giants to add a safety in the draft to compete with Gervarrius Owens for the role in 2024.

Enter Tykee Smith, a versatile safety who's shown great ability in both the run and pass game. Smith totaled 70 tackles, two sacks, four interceptions, and two pass defenses on an impressive Georgia.

Smith plays the position with athleticism and incredible instincts that have shown over his five seasons in college. Smith is one of my favorite players in this years draft class and will be a true diamond in the rough for whatever team selects him.

184th Overall Pick: - Justin Eboigbe - Defensive Line - Alabama

The final selection of the Giants' draft should be used to help bolster the team's needs in the trenches. While Sweat could provide the Giants with an incredible run defender, Justin Eboigbe would help the team as an interior defensive lineman with pass-rush ability.

Eboigbe recorded 63 tackles and seven sacks in an Alabama defense that featured top edge rushers Dallas Turner and Chris Braswell. Eboigbe is one of the more underrated interior defensive linemen in this class and would likely be a higher-regarded prospect if not for a car accident that cost him his 2022-23 season.

An important draft to nail for the New York Giants

This draft will be important for the Giants to nail, especially after a disappointing season. This will be Joe Schoen's third draft as general manager and while the team's improved, many of the holes in the roster haven't been filled since he's arrived.

The team desperately needs a high-caliber receiver and offensive line help. If Joe Schoen doesn't kill it this cycle, many will start to question whether or not he's the right guy for the job.
