Aaron Rodgers Takes Entire Jets O-Line on Offseason Trip
The New York Jets are already onto the 2024 season. Over the next few months, players on the team may hang out outside of the facility to build closer bonds and continuity. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers is already onto that and is hanging out with offensive linemen on the Jets.
Rodgers took the entire offensive line on a trip to Las Vegas.
New York struggled immensely upfront due to raving injuries and was forced to play 13 different offensive line combinations. Those mishaps have a ripple effect on the offense all year long.
They were tied for third in the league in most sacks allowed (64). If Rodgers was back there he could have alleviated some of their deficiencies due to his high IQ and solid understanding of defensive schemes.
With the 2024 season a make-or-break campaign for New York, Rodgers knows he must trust the guys in front of him. Getting to know them on a more personal level allows certain to translate over to the football field. Rodgers has played 19 seasons in the NFL and knows the importance of a solid offensive line.
The 40-year-old also went golfing with his fellow teammates that included Connor McGovern, Max Mitchell, and Chris Glaser.
Rodgers and the guys hit Shadow Creek Golf Course in Las Vegas which featured the California product smashing a hole-in-one during his first golf outing since the injury. The Jets are out West and looking to strengthen their bond with their franchise signal caller.
