The Giants are in an interesting position heading into the NFL Draft selecting at six. The Giants are in a position where they won't have their preferred pick at quarterback or at wide receiver as the top three quarterbacks and wide receivers will likely come off the board before the sixth pick. This makes the Giants an interesting team to watch as a trade down candidate with several intriguing scenarios.

Here after the Bills traded away Stefon Diggs, they trade all the way up in the draft to land a new pass catcher for Josh Allen. The Giants trade the Bills the sixth pick here in exchange for the 28th overall pick and the 60th overall pick in this draft as well as the Bills second and third-round picks in 2025 and the Vikings second round pick in 2025.

The NFL Draft Value Chart has the Giants giving up 1600 points while receiving 960 points in 2024 and anywhere from 1260 to 1705 points in 2025.

The Giants use the 28th pick to land Florida State Wide Receiver Keon Coleman who despite poor testing may be a star receiver in the NFL. They'd then use the 60th pick to select Michigan Defensive Tackle Kris Jenkins who could become a game wrecker in a loaded Giants front seven.

This trade is the worst of the five scenarios because the Giants would move so far down in a top-heavy draft class. This trade would be beneficial for the Giants because they'd be loading up on ammunition in the 2025 draft class where they'd be able to trade up for their next quarterback in that class. This trade likely wouldn't happen as Joe Schoen and Brian Daboll may not get to use these picks with a bad season. This scenario would certainly be worth exploring especially if the Giants aren't in love with JJ McCarthy.
