The New York Jets went 7-10 in 2023 and failed to reach the postseason again. The pressure is on Joe Douglas and Robert Saleh to build a contending roster. If things don't go well for Gang Green, plenty of people in Florham Park will be looking for new jobs.

The Jets have a bunch of holes to fill on the offensive side of the ball and must address that in the next few months.

Below we'll discuss some players New York should target in free agency.

1. Calvin Ridley

Receiver Calvin Ridley to set to hit the open market. Ridley returned to the field in 2023 after serving a one-year suspension for sports gambling. The Alabama product showed he's still a capable playmaker in the NFL.

Ridley is a top-notch route runner who does a great job at creating separation. The 29-year-old has the body control to make difficult catches as well. Last season, Ridley finished with 76 receptions for 1,016 yards and eight touchdowns.

He would immediately step and become New York's No. 2 wideout. Garrett Wilson is the only receiver on the Jets' roster that puts fear in opposing defenders.

In 2023, no receiver other than Wilson finished with more than 311 receiving yards and one score on the year. Those numbers are terrible and simply not good enough for any offense in this league.

New York looking to lock down Ridley would be a smart move. Getting a veteran playmaker for Aaron Rodgers immediately improves the offense.
