5 Low-Cost Playmakers the Giants Can Target in Free Agency

After spending a massive chunk of the team's cap space to improve the offensive line and the pass rush the Giants should look to add some low-cost weapons to the offense.

We've seen Brian Daboll and Joe Schoen make reunions with players they know from Buffalo with the signings of Devin Singletary, Jon Felicano, and Tyrod Taylor in the past. Isaiah McKenzie would make the most sense of any player the Giants have made a reunion with from Daboll's Bills offenses. The 28 year old receiver had great seasons with Buffalo reaching his highest marks in 2022 where he recorded 42 catches for 423 yards and four touchdowns.

After a down year with the Colts McKenzie will come at a cheap price for any team that looks to sign him in free agency fitting right into the Giants' budget. If Brian Daboll could get decent production out of McKenzie it would be an incredible signing for the Giants. For McKenzie, joining an offense he's played in with a shaky group of receivers could lead to a career year allowing him to cash in next season in free agency.

3. Scotty Miller - Wide Receiver

The long-time Buccaneers receiver left the team for their division-rival Falcons with the results underwhelming as Miller caught just eleven passes for 161 yards and two touchdowns. After three straight seasons of down production, the market for Miller will be small as Miller will receive a one-year deal with a low salary.

The Giants could sign the speedy Miller to serve as a deep threat allowing Jalin Hyatt and Darius Slayton to run more short and intermediate routes. Miller could also be a useful weapon in the return game alongside Gunner Olszewski who the Giants extended before free agency opened. Miller would truly be a no-risk signing for the Giants as he'll likely land on a veteran minimum salary.
