Scenario 3: Colts move up for defensive help

In this scenario the Colts make a move for who they see as the top corner in the draft. In this deal the Jets give up the 10th overall pick and the 111th pick while acquiring the 15th and 46th choices. The draft value chart has the Jets trading away 1372 points while acquiring 1490 points.

The Jets would then use the 15th pick on Brock Bowers or LSU's Brian Thomas Jr., giving Aaron Rodgers an elite young weapon. The Jets would then use the 46th overall pick on Miami safety Kamren Kinchens or whichever safety they have graded the highest.

This scenario is the best of the three thus far as the Jets are still in the range where they can land an elite weapon to bolster the offense. This trade also gives New York a second-round pick in this draft as they traded theirs for Aaron Rodgers.

The Jets could still grab an impact player with the 46th pick rather than the long wait between picks 10 and 72. The biggest risk with this deal is the chance that Brock Bowers, Rome Odunze, and the other top weapons all come off the board prior to the Jets pick at 15.
