The New York Giants were relatively quiet on Wednesday, making no moves of significance after two busy days of trades and signings. As the available players begin to dwindle Joe Schoen may need to change directions to add further players to make the roster deeper.

There are several former New York Giants that Joe Schoen should consider adding to the team to raise the overall level of the group heading to 2024.

5. Cam Brown - Linebacker/Special Teams

While Cam Brown is far from a household name, he's become an integral piece of the Giants special team's units over his four seasons in New York. The Penn State Alumni has shown at times he can play linebacker, though he's primarily been the Giants' top special teamer in his four seasons in New York.

As a role player Brown won't command a large price in free agency making it easy for the Giants to reunite with Brown. With turnover in the special teams' units with a new coordinator coming in retaining a veteran on special teams may make the transition much easier for the Giants heading into an important season.
