Illinois TE Tip Reiman

Darren Waller has been hinting at retirement all offseason, but it's still unknown if the 31-year-old tight end will hang up his cleats before the 2024 season. Regardless of Waller's status, the Giants don't have great options at tight end and should address the position at some point in the draft. New York also struggles blocking defenders and could use help in that area. What better way to address both needs than by drafting the best blocking tight end in the 2024 class: Tip Reiman.

Reiman is essentially a sixth offensive lineman due to his enormous frame (6-foot-5, 270 pounds) and strong lower body. While blocking is his calling card, he also has strengths as a pass-catcher. Reiman didn't get many opportunities to show it at Illinois, but he demonstrated fluid route running at the combine. Reiman is also tough to tackle due to his thick lower half, which could lead to extra production after the catch.

Not to call Reiman the next George Kittle, but the 49ers tight end is also a Day 3 pick with elite blocking and tremendous size. If Reiman fulfills his potential, he could be the best tight end in this draft when it's all said and done.
