South Dakota State OG Mason McCormick

Players from FCS programs often don't get much love, but Mason McCormick proved at the NFL Combine that he has the tools of an NFL lineman. McCormick's athletic score at the combine ranked second among interior linemen, per NFL Next Gen Stats. He uses his athleticism to get out of his stance quickly and has good upper-body strength to keep pass rushers at bay.

On top of his physical traits, McCormick had a sensational career at South Dakota State. McCormick was a big reason why the Jackrabbits won two FCS national championships while he was on campus.

He demonstrated great leadership by being team captain for three years and showed tremendous durability by starting 57 consecutive games. McCormick played 1,544 career pass-blocking snaps at South Dakota State and only gave up three sacks.

The Giants need more help along the offensive line after giving up 84 sacks last year, the second most in NFL history. McCormick is tough, athletic and a good leader; traits that New York desperately needs from its big men up front.
