1: Malik Nabers

One of the biggest additions of the offseason was LSU wide receiver Malik Nabers via the NFL Draft. The Giants selected Nabers with the No. 6 overall pick in this year's draft. The Giants could've easily passed on Nabers and drafted a quarterback to compete for the starting job with Jones; however, saw something special in the LSU wide receiver.

The Giants have not had a true WR1 since Odell Beckham Jr left the team after the 2018 season. Nabers can now fill the void left by OBJ. Last season at LSU, Nabers was named a unanimous All-American after leading the FBS in receiving yards with 1,569, 89 receptions, and 14 touchdowns in 13 games. Nabers will look to have a similar impact on the Giants offense this season.

The Giants want to build this team's future around Nabers. The rookie wide receiver has not played a snap in the NFL yet but has already been compared to Ja'Marr Chase and Justin Jefferson by several media members and fellow players around the league. The Giants got a steal if he is anything like fellow LSU WRs Chase and Jefferson. The Giants also agreed to unretire the No. 1, previously worn by Ray Flaherty, after Nabers wore the No. 9 throughout the preseason.

Giants fans will get their first look at Nabers on Sunday when he plays against Vikings cornerbacks Byron Murphy and Stephon Gilmore. It will be extremely fun to watch Nabers and Jefferson go up against each other.

The Giants' first-rounder must make his presence known and help boost the passing game in his debut so the G-Men can start the 2024 season off in the win column.
