The New York Giants will look a little different in 2024, but we can expect improvements in specific areas. These new Giants will dominate their New York debuts against the Vikings on Sunday.

3: Devin Singletary

The Giants' backfield will look a lot different this season, as they have had a different starting running back since 2018. Two-time Pro Bowl running back Saquon Barkley left the Giants this offseason in free agency and is joining NFC East rival Philadelphia Eagles. In response to this move, Schoen signed veteran running back Devin Singletary to fill the Giants' open RB1 role and replace Saquon.

Singletary previously played for the Buffalo Bills, working with Daboll and, most recently, the Houston Texans.

Last year with the Texans, he had 898 rushing yards on 216 attempts and four touchdowns. Filling the void left by Barkley won't be easy and will take time to adjust to, but Singletary will get you downfield and put the Giants' offense in a position to score on every drive. The veteran has been remarkably consistent throughout his NFL career, so I expect the same from the veteran running back this season starting Sunday afternoon.

Last year, Minnesota's rush defense ranked 32nd in the league, which should provide opportunities for Motor to succeed in Week 1.
