While the NFL Draft brings in tons of new talent, it also leads to the replacement of several key players. The New York Giants will certainly be swapping several franchise mainstays with the selections they make in this year's event.

Here are a few important players that may be on thin ice heading into the draft.

4. Aaron Robinson - Cornerback

Dave Gettleman and the Giants front office traded up for Aaron Robinson in hopes of landing a solid young cornerback in the 2021 NFL Draft. The team chose Robinson over soild Saints CB Paulson Adebo.

The Giants have gotten just four starts out of Robinson, as he's missed a season and three quarters of a season with a knee injury.

The Giants, in all likelihood, will select a cornerback on day two of the NFL draft after allowing Adoree Jackson to hit free agency. If New York does bring in new blood, Robinson will truly be on the chopping block heading into training camp.

3. Evan Neal - Tackle

While many expect the Giants to land a quarterback or a wide receiver with the sixth overall pick, there are a few draft experts that believe an offensive tackle could be in play. The Giants' weak link on the offensive line is clearly the right tackle position as injuries and poor play make Neal replaceable.

If the Giants land a tackle with the sixth pick, Neal will either be moved to guard, a position he's said he doesn't want to play, or he'll serve as the team's swing tackle while they likely explore trading him.

Even if New York passes on drafting a tackle, making a move for a guard in the draft will then put the pressure on Neal. Free agent signing Jermaine Eluemunor was a serviceable right tackle for the Raiders and can easily move back if Neal's struggles continue.
