2. Christian Scott - Right Handed Pitcher- 24 years old

With all the Mets' questions surrounding the starting rotation, it leaves the prospects with plenty of opportunities to get a chance to start. Christian Scott hasn't reached AAA yet but, he's shown great talent at AA and could push for a spot in the backend of the rotation in 2024.

In AA, Scott pitched in 12 games with a 4-3 record and a 2.47 ERA after a 2.28 ERA in A ball. However, he is currently not on the 40-man roster but the Mets did include him as a non-roster invitee to Spring Training, so he'll have a chance to pitch his way onto the roster.

The Mets should certainly give Scott an extended look this season just like Mike Vasil as if the team can find something in either pitcher, it can change their entire outlook on free agency in 2025.
