3- Can the Rangers Find Their Groove On the Powerplay?

Over the first seven games of the playoffs, the Rangers' powerplay looked unstoppable as nearly every powerplay was resulting in a goal for the team. However, things have taken a turn for the worse since that point as the Rangers powerplay continues to look worse. In this series, the Rangers are now 0-6 on the powerplay with a 0-4 night in Game Two.

It would be easy to believe that the Rangers' powerplay could turn things around, however, they haven't generated that many scoring chances on the man advantage. It's hard to imagine that there will be many if any personnel changes to the top powerplay unit.

The team will need to get this powerplay going especially as this series heads down south. The Rangers' issues have started with faceoffs as they're struggling to get settled early. The team is also passing one too many times as they're passing up solid looks to find better ones when they should just get pucks on the net at times.

If the Rangers find their way on the powerplay, with the way the defense has been playing, the Rangers will have a massive advantage. If the team on the other hand continues to fail in scoring on the powerplay then it's a major issue with this team's five-on-five issues.
