6. Anthony Rizzo Has A Bounce Back Season

After missing the final remaining games last year due to a concussion, I predict that Anthony Rizzo will return to his normal self he once was. Yet so far, Rizzo has looked to be in good shape in spring training. In just 14 games played in Grapefruit League he is slashing .412/.512/.676 with a pair of homers and nine RBI over 34 at-bats. The Yankees need Rizzo to be healthy this season if they want to reach the promised land.

7. Yankees Trade For Shane Bieber

If the pitching were to turn to a disaster, it would lead the team to start considering acquiring high-end starters in the market. The one pitcher I have the Yankees acquiring is Shane Bieber. Now Bieber is not the same pitcher he once was. However, he could turn out to be more improved thanks to Matt Blake who's been known as turning below average pitchers to aces again. The cost won't be a problem at all. The only concern is Shane Bieber's health. That is something that the Yankees are going to navigate through the pitching market once the trade deadline arrives by the end of July.

8. Yankees Win Over 100 Games

The expectations for the Yankees in 2024 are high. Here I have the Bronx Bombers win over 100 games. The reason for them winning over 100 games is due to the likes of Juan Soto, Aaron Judge, Giancarlo Stanton, and Gleyber Torres. If these guys stay healthy all year long, watch out. This team has the potential to do damage come October. Health is going to be the key that determines the direction for the team this season.
