It's not only the offense or secondary costing the Jets. The rushing defense is pitching in, having surrendered 300 yards on the ground the past two weeks.
The Jets could be on the fast track to 1-6 and their only savior from that could be a win in San Diego during Week 5. At 1-3 and sinking, the Jets have themselves and their general manager to thank for being in this unenviable spot.
John Idzik had the means to improve the Jets roster at cornerback, an obvious need spot. He didn't and now New York is in an unenviable spot on defense.
