Linebackers

Linebacker: Tremaine Edmunds, Matt Milano, AJ Klein, Tyler Matakevich, Vosean Joseph

Cuts: Tyrel Dodson, Del’Shawn Phillips, Corey Thompson

A super young but talented group of linebackers is what the Bills will have in 2020. The leader of their defense is Edmunds, as he is poised to take another step and become one of the best linebackers in football. Pair Edmunds with Milanom who is another stud at linebacker, and you have one of the best linebacker tandems in the NFL.

The newly acquired AJ Klein will likely replace Lorenzo Alexander as the third starting linebacker for Buffalo. He is a veteran with a great football IQ, and he is more effective against the run and struggles at times against the pass.

They also signed Tyler Matakevich in the offseason, and he will mainly show his talents on special teams.

One of my dark horse breakout players for the Bills is linebacker Vosean Joseph. Joseph, who was injured all of last year is a strong, athletic player who was constantly making plays at The University of Florida.

The Bills still like the potential in Joseph and see him as a future-starting linebacker. Joseph won’t have enough time in the limited pre-season to show his talent. He will need to perform at a high level every time he touches the field during the season to start turning some heads.
