Week 5- Arizona Cardinals at New York Jets – Sunday, 10/11/20 @ 1:00 PM (Fox)

The Arizona Cardinals strutted out a rookie head coach and quarterback last season in Kliff Kingsbury and Kyler Murray. There were struggles, especially with an incomplete roster, but plenty of room for optimism.

Arizona finished last season 5-10-1, but they played in a lot of close games. In a rebuilding year, the team played the 49ers tough, with chances to win in both games. They also sported a three-game win streak with two of those wins coming on the road. This year, many believe Arizona should be able to take the next step and hover around the .500 mark.

During the offseason, the team was able to flip incumbent running back, David Johnson, to the Texans for star wideout, DeAndre Hopkins. The Cardinals also added pieces such as Devon Kennard and Jordan Phillips. Arizona also retained running back, Kenyan Drake, who ran well in a short time last season.

This is a game that the New York Jets need to see on the schedule and circle as a must-win. Of course, all games in the NFL are must-wins, but if playoffs are the aspirations, then this is the game they need to get.

The Cardinals are improved, and Murray could take the next step to stardom, but there are still a lot of holes. It will be another big test for a young quarterback on the road against a Greg Williams defense.
