4. James Bradberry, Age: 26

A young corner who isn’t blowing anyone out of the water sounds perfect for the Jets. That is exactly the type of player James Bradberry is. Over his four-year career, he has missed four games so far. Signing a non-injury prone guy is always a plus. Sometimes the best ability is availability.

He is good at closing on the ball with eight career interceptions and 47 passes defended, including three and 12 for the Panthers last year. Bradberry also has the third-most tackles (220) of any cornerback since 2017. Bradberry has the tools to grow behind a great defensive mind like Gregg Williams. He is a really nice fit for the New York Jets.

3. Kendall Fuller Age: 25

Kendall Fuller is young and won a Super Bowl ring with the Chiefs last season. He is a quick smaller guy with plenty of upside. The former third-round pick could be a nice nickel cornerback for the New York Jets. With Gregg Williams calling the shots on defense, he could get very creative with moving Fuller around into different spots.

He has not gotten much of an opportunity to be a starter.  Fuller has only started 31 out of 55 games over his career. That could make him cheaper than some other players on the free agent market. He can give the New York Jets a real bang for their buck and could have a huge impact this upcoming season.
