It feels like it was yesterday I was watching Kobe andCarmelo Anthonyduel it out on the hardwood. Two juggernauts, trading mostly mid-range jumpers, working to help each other’s respective teams to have hopes of playoff births. It was like watching Goku and Vegeta battling it out to determine who was the more worthy fighter.
During this Christmas Day game, Kobe and Melo would both tally 34 points, but the Lakers would go on to win 100-94. If you are a true NBA fan, there was nothing better than watching Melo and Kobe go at it. Two of the craftiest scorers in the league, both of whom made scoring look so easy.
