Question 9: Will Henrik Lundqvist end his career with the New York Rangers (yes/no).

At 37-years-old, it’s clear that Henrik Lundqvist‘s best days defending the Rangers net have passed him by. Does the King stay in the Big Apple and get a hero’s sendoff? Or will he leave for a chance to have his name engraved on the Stanley Cup, because the Rangers are still a ways away from being championship contenders? Management won’t deal him without his consent, so the only thing for certain, the decision is Lundqvist’s to make.

No – 6.1 percent

A small group thinks Hank will opt and leave the Blueshirts for a chance to win the Cup.

“I think he wants a cup bad, but I’m not sure whether his talent is there still to make a full run. I still say he leaves though.” – Arsenio Rodriquez

Unsure – 15.2 percent

I put myself in this category. He’s a rock star (figurative and literally) in New York, but a Stanley Cup is the only thing missing from his Hall-of-Fame career. Which way he’ll go is something I can’t answer.

Yes – 78.8 percent

“Henrik ends career with the Rangers. I believe he is the best goalie in Rangers history and should remain and end his career with them.” – Johnny Mak

“I think Henrik wants to retire a Ranger so with that being said I believe he will hang up skates at the end of next season.” – Debbie Phillips
