The final score of the New York Jets vs. Philadelphia Eagles game continues the unfortunate trend of losing that has plagued this team since kickoff weekend.

The same old beaten story for the New York Jets as they drop their fourth straight game to start the 2019 season. The team took another turn for the worst with their latest efforts against the Philadelphia Eagles. The dismal 31-6 defeat is another reason as to why Jets fans will be calling for front office changes again before the season is over.

New York wasn’t prepared for this game

The loss yesterday exposed even more issues at the offensive line and overall pass protection.  Luke Falk continues to show he isn’t ready to be a starting quarterback in the NFL with consecutive woeful performances. The team couldn’t muster any realistic sense of hope on each drive and faltered to make anything of the weak performances from Carson Wentz and the Eagles offense.

The concern is centered once again on the uninteresting playbook of Adam Gase. The new Jets head coach isn’t looking too good amongst fans as he still hasn’t made the appropriate adjustments since Sam Darnold‘s health situation. The excuse of blaming the team’s problems on the young third-string quarterback has gotten old very quick in New York. The Gase era in New York could be coming to an abrupt ending if there isn’t at least a small chance of optimism in the fanbase or franchise.
