New York Jets at New England Patriots

Andrew Elderbaum

The Jets-Pats game should come with an NC-17 rating, and poor Luke Falk should be given a blindfold and a cigarette. The Patriots will go another week without giving up a touchdown, and the New York Jets may need to play Browning Nagle. Patriots 38-Jets 0.

Ed Easton

The New York Jets will struggle throughout this game as Tom Brady, and the New England Patriots score early and often in Foxboro. The offense won’t do much better than did on Monday night as the home team dominates the time of possession battle. The lone Jets score will likely come from the defense capitalizing off of a turnover. Patriots win.

Jason Reed

It is no secret that the New England Patriots are one of the best teams in the league and quite possibly are fielding the team’s best roster since going 16-0 in 2007. Keep in mind, the Patriots have won three Super Bowls since then. The New York Jets were a promising breakout team before the season began that still has not reached its potential and will fall to 0-3 in Week 3.

The defense will show signs of slowing the Patriots down but three touchdowns from Tom Brady and a rushing touchdown from Sony Michel will get the Patriots the W. Meanwhile, the stout New England secondary will feast on Luke Falk and will go its third game in a row without allowing a touchdown. New England 31, Jets 6.

Ed Stein

I will keep this one pretty short. When was the last time a third-string quarterback beat Bill Belichick’s Patriots? It won’t happen this week either.
