This is week two of our football predictions. Find out who we like in the New York Giants, New York Jets, NCAA game of the week, and NFL Sunday Night Football games.

This season Empire Writes Back will run an internal contest predicting the games our readers are interested in. We will always have our takes on the New York Giants, New York Jets, and Rutgers Scarlet Knights games for the upcoming weekend. Additionally, we add the Sunday Night NFL Game of the Week unless a local team is in it, then we’ll do Monday night.

Picking the games each week will be co-site expert Ed Stein, co-site expert Ed Easton Jr., a rotating member of the Empire Writes Back staff, and a special guest. You get each person’s outright winner of the game, consider anything else such as a score or spread as a bonus. We will keep track of the results and the winner gets the same points as they hand out on “Who’s Line is it Anyway.”

Last week Ed Stein, EWB Staff Member Matthew Travis, and guest Dan Schmelzer of NFL Mocks went 3-1, while Ed Easton was 2-2.

Joining the Ed and Ed for the weekend of September 14-16 is our rotating Empire Writes Back staff member, Zachary Bachar. This week’s guest is our special guest, Connor Muldowney, Co-Site Expert/Editor for Saturday Blitz.

On the docket for the weekend of September 14-16 is:

  • Buffalo at the New York Giants.
  • OBJ returns to MetLife as his Cleveland Brown face the New York Jets on Monday night.
  • Rutgers is off this week, so we will do an SEC East showdown between Kentucky and Florida.
  • Finally, it’s a Sunday Night NFL clash between when the Pittsburgh Steelers and defending Super Bowl Champion New England Philadelphia Eagles face head to Atlanta for a matchup with the Falcons.

This is how our panelists see it this week.
