New York Giants: 6 Miami Dolphins Big Blue should consider
By Ed Stein
Lots of Dolphins want out of town after an embarrassing 59-10 opening day defeat. Here is a list of Miami players the New York Giants should consider trading for.
One of the big losses on opening day was the New York Giants defeat in Dallas, but it was far from the worst. Miami was thrashed at home 59-10 by Baltimore. Afterward, there was a huge fallout. According to Mike Florio of NBC’s Pro Football Talk, there was talk of a mass exodus by the Dolphins players. His tweet about the subject went viral among NFL fans.
Apparently, there is some pride left in the Miami locker room. The players believe the organization is deliberately tanking this season and they don’t like it. Many of them were on the phone to their respective agents after the game.
They don’t think Brian Flores is a capable head coach and the organization isn’t serious about winning. Additionally, the players also saw how to Laremy Tunsil was basically run out of town by the team. It was an extremely unpopular move in the locker room. Now several weeks late more of the Fins team want out of the Magic City… A.S.A.P.
After their debacle in Dallas, it’s obvious the Giants need a player upgrade. Not that Miami is oozing with talent, but Big Blue needs to close the gap on teams like the Cowboys. If some Dolphins players want out, then the New York Giants should take full advantage of the situation to help them get what they need. Here are some Dolphins players Giants GM Dave Gettleman will want to make a play for.
