Coming off a 5-11 2018 season, the New York Giants seek redemption this year. Our EWB staff predicts how many games the G-Men will win in 2019.

Last year was an abomination for the New York Giants. They had another miserable season, winning just five games. With the way the G-Men played all season, it was almost a miracle they won so many. There were times Big Blue played so bad, they left their fans just blue. Much of the success the team had was due to the outstanding running back Saquon Barkley who had over 2,000 combined rushing and receiving yards.

Welcome to the New York Giants 2019 football season. So much has changed since 2018, it’s almost hard to keep up. General Manager Dave Gettleman has put his stamp on this team. Odell Beckham Jr., Landon Collins, Olivier Vernon, B.W. Webb, and Curtis Riley, among others, are gone. Some will be missed more than others, but trading away OBJ, and letting Collins walk away as a free agent, still stings for longtime Giants fans.

Veterans coming to the Big Blue Wrecking Crew are Kevin Zeitler, Jabrill Peppers, Golden Tate, Antoine Bethea, Markus Golden, and Mike Remmers, to name a few. The G-Men also welcomed three first-round draft picks to the fold, Dexter Lawrence, DeAndre Baker, and heir apparent to Eli Manning‘s quarterback throne, Daniel Jones.

How will the G-Men do this season? Empire Writes Back put that question to some of our staff members. Each predicted how many games Big Blue will win in 2019.
