New York Giants general manager says his team can win and rebuild at the same time. They have made progress but in what way?

The New York Giants have made several moves during this offseason and for better or worse the team has made progress, in a few positions. However, the Giants will also show a strong regression in multiple spots on the football field.

The Draft provided a brief look into the mind of general manager Dave Gettleman and the tenacity that he brings to his job. He’s stubborn to a fault but demonstrates time and time again that he believes his way is the best way, right or wrong. It’s his ship and the only person/persons he truly has to answer to is New York Giants ownership.

In 2019, the offense will go into the season looking different than it did last year. There are some familiar faces such as Eli Manning (whether you love him or hate him) and Saquon Barkley. Conversely, their big playmaker over the past few seasons, wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. was shipped out to Cleveland in March.

There is one important question Big Blue Nation will be looking to have answered going forward. Who can the Giants turn towards to lead the way and replace the production of the sensational yet polarizing, wonder kid Beckham? Say what you will about him and his antics when healthy OBJ’s numbers are hard to replace.

So as Giants fans prepare for a long spring season of OTAs. They keep their hopes alive by hearing how bad or good a player does while in shorts, jersey and a helmet. In that spirit, we’ll take a deeper look into each position and what we can expect going into camp and the season. starting with position grades for the offense.
