New York Giants: Three round internet mock draft compilation 2.0

Round Two – 37th overall pick
Drafting isn’t an exact science. The further the draft goes, the harder it is to predict. That said, there are still quality players available 37 picks in. This is where the Giants scouting department starts to earn their pay.
Not every mock draft surveyed went past the first round. Additionally, of the 12 that did, no player received more than one hit in the second round. That said there are a few players who would be excellent additions to the G-Men.
Tackle Greg Little and edge rusher Brian Burns are players who show up in the second round, that others had the Giants using the 17th overall pick for. If Little is still there when Big Blue comes up in the second round, he should be considered. Little is a raw talent that needs some work on his technique, so if selected the Giants shouldn’t count on him immediately. They can’t afford an Ereck Flowers repeat.
The player who might be the best fit here is safety Nasir Adderley from Delaware. When watching Adderley there is a whole lot to like. He’s a big hitter and also can cover ground in the passing game. As a matter of fact, he’s got experience at cornerback, so he can probably cover a slot receiver as a nickel back. He isn’t a run stopper per se and will miss an occasional tackle but Adderley is the kind of player the Giants should be looking at to replace Landon Collins.
Two mock drafts had New York selecting a quarterback in this spot. Will Grier (West Virginia) and Ryan Finley (NC State) each picked up a hit. Grier had some fantastic games for the Mountaineers. But does GM Dave Gettleman really want to wait this long to get the next leader of the team?
Finally, two drafts had the Giants attempting to replace OBJ. One had Marquise Brown from Oklahoma, and the other had Haskins receiver buddy at Ohio State Terry McLaurin.
