Dealing with issues

He has experienced numerous player arrests and the disciplinary actions that follow. These can be very stressful times for him and the player involved. Jonathan is aware of that and has had success in handling these situations by having a good relationship with every member of the team. Anytime one of the players has an issue, he has a unique approach to tackle the problem.

Supranowitz sad that he will never tell a player what to do, but instead give them choices on how to solve the problem. He understands that an athlete is like everybody else, and wants to help them as much as he can.

His approach is to always give them two or three options and what will most likely happen if they did one of those choices, or they can do nothing at all. In his 18 years of being the Vice President of Public Relations, Jonathan has prided himself in this method and it has created relationships within the organization. He has shown the players respect, and they show respect right back.

After handling crisis situations and traveling frequently, not knowing what tomorrow will bring, Jonathan has only grown from each test. His greatest strengths have come from the challenges he faces, moreover, how he handles them. He understands that each day brings a new encounter, which he greets with confidence and excitement.

He is proud to have been the longest-tenured employee in the Public Relations department that the organization has seen since the 1970s. Jonathan has been there for 18 years, growing from manager to director, then vice president. Looking back at the other people who were once in his position, they only were in the position for five or six years at a time. His long-standing career is an admirable feat.
