New York Jets: Three round mock draft internet compilation

The upcoming NFL draft is vital to the New York Jets future. Empire Writes Back got a consensus of 21 mock drafts to get an indication of what might happen when Roger Goodell steps to the podium and announces the pick.
This year’s annual NFL Draft is scheduled for April 25-27 in Nashville, Tennessee. The New York Jets own the third overall selection as well as a pair of picks in round three. Their second round pick was used last season to trade up for quarterback Sam Darnold.
The last few months have been the Wild West of speculation. It seems as if every day another expert is putting out a mock draft. Meanwhile, Gang Green Nation waits on pins and needles to see who the Jets select with their top pick. It’s interesting to see how experts from all over the country interpret what the Jets needs are and how they will go about filling them.
The draft is an evolving, fluid situation, and the speculation isn’t over until a team’s pick is announced at the podium. Even then it can change. Teams make trades, lots of them. That’s why we looked at 21 different Mock Drafts across the internet. Included in the compilation are drafts from ESPN, CBS Sports, Sports Illustrated, NFL.com, 24/7, Sporting News, Walter Football, Athlon Sports, Ourlads, USA Today, draftsite.com, and of course FanSided.
There are plenty of different theories and opinions to consider. Jets GM Mike Mccagnon is in a good position to make a trade. Truth be told, there is good reason to trade down to acquire more picks. On the other side of the coin, Gang Green has an opportunity to select a game-changing talent with their first-round pick.
