New York Giants: Full Mock Draft-filling the roster with the best talent
With the 17th overall pick the Giants select WR, D.K. Metcalf
D.K. Metcalf coming out of Ole Miss standing at 6’3 228 lbs, beings all sort of athleticism to the wide receiver position. With this 17th Pick I was torn between Greedy Williams and Metcalf with both being available on the board.
However after a complete breakdown of each player Metcalf not only adds value at the 17th pick but falls in line with what may happen in the draft with Greedy Williams going between 13th and 16th in most projected drafts to this point.
D.K. showed that explosive-ness that everyone was waiting to see from him at the combine, not only did he show in peak shaped being compared to the “human batman suit” but he brought with him wonderful metrics in top arm size 34 7/8 and good hand size 9 7/8 as reported by NFL.com
Metcalf wasn’t able to show his full abilities with his college offense and the struggles they were experiencing at Quarterback. However being on the same team as a Saquon Barkley would open the field for him to see ton of one on one coverage and prove to the league that he his an all worldly receiver.
